TGIF, fellow Kelly fans! What a great Friday it is!! It was announced yesterday that Kelly and Reba are nominated for a CMA award for their duet of ” Because of You”! I am so happy for both of them! Here’s the announcement that was over at Kelly’s official website:

Kelly and Reba have been nominated for Country Music Award for the Musical Event with the song “Because Of You”. “The 41st Annual CMA Awards” will be broadcast live from the Sommet Center in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 7 (8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) on ABC.

I HOPE HOPE HOPE that they win!!! It would be Kelly’s very first CMA award, and Reba’s 5th, making Reba the first female artist to win 5 CMA awards! Keep your hopes up and your fingers crossed, people!

Also, it was announced that Kell’s next single from her smash hit cd ” My December” will be ” Don’t Waste Your Time“. This is a great song, and is sure to burn up the air waves when it is released on the radio September 10! That’s next Sunday peeps!!! Be sure to call your local radio station and request this song ( and of course, all of her others), and let’s push the heck out of the air play for Kelly!!!

My December, Don’t Waste Your Time, Kelly and Reba’s nomination for a CMA award

Happy Thursday, gang!

We’re well over the hump in the week, and we are cruising into the weekend! Thanks so much to Gigi for participating in yesterday’s topic of which songs you’d like to hear Kelly remix! I thought it was a fun topic, and I appreciate you playing along! There is still time for all of you to join in and give your two cents about which songs you’d love to hear Kelly remix. I am curious to see what you all think!

Today, I wanted to talk about tattoos. As we know, Kelly has two tattoos..a small black cross in the inside of her right wrist, and a flower tattoo on the inside of her ankle. What do you all think of Kelly Clarkson’s tattoos? Personally, I love tattoos, although I do not have any. I think that my problem is that I like too many things that I could never decide on just one set thing for a tattoo. Plus, I’d hate to get something and then regret it later on down the road.

In August of last year, I was lucky enough to interview Kat Von D ( who was once on TLC’s “Miami Ink”, but now has her own show, “LA Ink“). She really opened my eyes to the tattooing industry, and I truly have a much deeper appreciation for the art. I think that Kelly’s tattoos are simple, and are obviously of great importance to her. I am thinking that her flower tattoo is in reference to her “Sober” song, where she says ” I’ve picked the weeds, but kept the flowers”. Perhaps I am overanalyzing this one, but you never know…I could be right!

So, I’d like to hear what you all think about tattoos and Kelly’s tattoos. I’ve told you my stance, now let’s hear yours!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

I hope that those of you that can purcahse tickets to see Kelly Clarkson in concert in October and December have already done so! No worries for the rest of us…there is time yet! I know that she will play here in Texas ( c’mon, it’s her home state! LOL) so my hopes have not dwindled yet!

The other day, I was in the car and I heard an older song on the radio. I told my friend, ” wouldn’t that be cool if Kelly covered this song?”. She quickly replied with an enthusiastic yes! So, I am curious…which songs would you love to hear Kelly cover? It can be any song on the radio…or even good old oldies ( which I like too! ). Here’s my list…I want to see yours too! By the way, I have a very ecletcic taste for music! I cover all the genres! LOL

On YouTube , there is a mash up of Green Day’s “Brainstew” and Kelly’s “Because of You”. Ok, before I get hate comments in the comment section (LOL), let me explain why I love this song. First off, I love Kelly (as you all know), and I also like Green Day. To mash up a slow ballad with a punk rock song is just SICK!!!! When I heard this on YouTube, I fell in love with it! As a matter of fact, I heard Green Day’s Brainstew on the radio the other day, and I was singing the Kelly parts along to the radio! LOL So, here’s the clip of it…you all tell me what you think…

Last night was the Teen Choice Awards on Fox. Our gal Kelly performed “Never Again” on the show, and if I may say, she ROCKED it! Here’s a pic of Kelly as she arrived at the show:

It was a bummer that she did not win the award, but she is still rocking the charts with her record sales on “My December” that I know she will be a great contender for the Grammy’s!:)

Teen Choice Awards on Fox, “Never Again”, “My December”, Grammy’s

Happy Friday, all!! I hope that everyone had a great week! Can you believe that we are already thru another week, and yet oh-so-close to finding out where and when Kelly is going to be playing on tour?!? I know, I can barely hold my excitement!

On Monday, Kelly was on Canadian Idol . For those of us in America, we, more than likely, could not watch it. So, I did a quick search on YouTube, and foudn it for you all! Here’s Kelly singing her hit single ” Never Again” :

I don’t know about you all, but I can never get enough of this song. Better yet, I can never get enough of ANY of her music! LOL!

Happy Thursday, gang!

I love this picture of Kelly that was taken on Monday from MuchOnDemand in Canada. Why? Because I love when she runs her fingers thru her hair..it is such an adorable trait that she has, and I think that it is a sign of child-like features that makes her seem all the more grounded - more so than other artists on the music scene today. To me, it just makes her all the more ” real”.

What do YOU love about Kelly that really puts her above the rest? I like that she is down to earth, true to herself as well as her family and friends, and simply put, she is grounded. You never hear about her our partying the night away ( ok, so there was that ONE time, but hey, we all have to have fun in life, right??!!?? ) or showing her jewels like other celebrities do ( read: Lohan and Spears ). Of course to put her in a catagory with other celebrities like that is simply not doing Kelly justice - she really is a class all her own!

In other news, Ticketmaster is getting ready to debut the Kelly Clarkson concert tour tickets any day now! I can not friggin’ wait!!!!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of YOU as well, in the hopes that she plays in your town!

Hey Kelly Fans,

Kelly is gearing up to hit the road!! As promised, we will be giving fans who purchased tickets for her cancelled tour the first opportunity to purchase tickets for her upcoming tour stops. Fan Club tickets for the first three shows of the new tour are going on sale this week… with more shows being announced very soon.

Here’s what you need to know:

Log-in to KellyClarkson.com and visit the Fan Club page to retrieve your new Ticketmaster passcode before the ticket presale begins. Your new passcode will allow you to access the ticket purchase page at your designated time. (See below for info on the date/time you can purchase.)

Please note that there is a purchase limit of two tickets per show, with a maximum purchase of four tickets per tour. This limit has been put in to place in order to accommodate more Fan Club members. We appreciate your understanding.

There has been a great deal of effort put forth to accommodate those members who previously purchased tickets, but due to changes in locations and other factors in ticketing, we cannot guarantee ticket availability. Tickets are first-come, first-serve while supplies last.

Ok, so there is some hot debates going on about which single should be released next. What do you all think? Happy Tuesday, all! A special hello to Dustin and Christina…thanks so much for participating! It is always great to see people stop by and say hello!

For those of us that just can’t get enough of Kelly ( um, hello…isn’t that ALL of us? LOL), guess what? She’s scheduled to appear on the Teen Choice Awards on Fox next Monday night! That’s right! On August 28, Kelly is scheduled to perform “Never Again” . Make sure that you all check your local listings for the time and channel that it will be coming on in your area!

OMG, gang…I think that Kelly is thisclose to announcing her new tour! If you check out Ticketmaster they have a link to Kelly’s upcoming concerts, although there are no dates on there just yet. I can’t wait to see if she’ll be coming back to Texas! Of course, this IS her home state, so I think that it would be silly for her not to. Of course, maybe I should be hoping that she is somewhere near me when she performs! LOL I know that you all can’t wait either! Keep checking back to see when she will be performing and where! It’s sure to be a blast for all of us!

Kelly will also be on Canadian Idol tomorrow night! She is set to mentor the remaining five contestants on the show, as well as give two performances for the audience members! I will try to get this performance up on this blog as soon as it is made available (read : YouTube). TGIF, gang! Wow, what a Friday it has been for me! My ISP has been out since yesterday morning, and is STILL out as I type! So, I apologize for the late posting today, but it is better late than never! I am on the (t)rusty old dial-up, but dang it, whatever works, right? C’mon, I am here to make sure that YOU all get the very latest in Kelly Clarkson news!

I hope that those of you that are in the Washington, DC area have a chance to check out Kelly’s performance in October ( please see yesterday’s post). The tickets run around $40.00 each, but you all will not be disappointed! Besides, lucky for you for living in the area, as you’re the lucky Kelly fans with the only new concert date so far!

Hello all! I am Sarah, the new writer here for KellyClarkson-fan.info! I am SO THRILLED to have this new opportunity to write for you all and share the latest Kelly Clarkson info, as I am a HUGE Kelly fan too! I have followed her since the days of American Idol, and am an acclaimed and proud Kesbian (kudos to those of you that figured that one out! LOL)! I have tons in store for all of you, from not only sharing daily (Monday to Friday) updates with all of you, but I will also have some fun contests where you all can have the opportunity to win some killer prizes!! (FYI, for any Tom Green fans, you can check out my other blog, where I am currently giving away one shirt per week of your choice for the next six months, thanks to Peace Frogs!)

So, if any of you are like me, your copy of My December has been burning a hole in your cd players and on your ipods! I LOVE “Sober” and of course “Never Again”! What are some of your favorites on this new cd? I love to work out on my treadmill to Never Again…really seems to get a lot of the frustrations of the day out (isn’t that the point of the song? LOL)!

Ok, so here’s the latest JG (JG = juicy gossip) in Kellyville! Kelly was recently spotted in Las Vegas at the Tao nightclub with some of her good friends, Ashley, Jill, Kate ( Jill and Kate sang back up for Kelly at Live Earth , and also have their own website at www.jillandkate.com) and another unidentified friend. By the way, isn’t Ashley looking gorgeous these days ( not that she hasn’t before, but dang! LOL)?

As for the news front on the latest Kelly news…
-Kelly is the Artist of the month over at the popular on demand music station, Music Choice! Tune in all this month to see three featured episodes of Kelly! One episode will be a fans question and answer forum, which is loved by all Kelly fans! There will also be an in depth interview, and a playlist that will be selected by Kelly herself! Be sure that you check your local listings to catch these great shows!
- Who loves Kelly AND football??? Well, on September 6 at 7 pm CST, you can catch her opening performance for the NFL Opening Kickoff on NBC! I can’t wait to catch that one!
