I hope that you all have a great weekend! I know that I am! I have friends coming over that I used to work with, and I have not seen them in over 5 years…where does the time go? It’s always great to have friends that you can talk to even after long periods of time as though you just talked the day before! I wish that everyone had friends as wonderful as mine! Who knows…maybe we’ll listen to a little bit of Kelly while they are here…

Tonight is the night that our gal Kelly is going to open the NFL Opening Kickoff on NBC at 8 pm EST! Make sure that you check your local listings and time to see what channel it’ll be on in your area! I can’t wait to see her perform!! A lot has happened for Kelly in the last 5 years, and I am curious to know what your favorite performance of Kelly has been so far! Was it her performance at a concert, or was it a television show that she was on? Over at Kelly’s fan club site, you can see Kelly and Rascal Flatts reherse before they go out and sing “ What Hurts the Most“. Every time I watch the clip, I get HUGE goosebumps, and I cry because it is just THAT beautiful! I hope that everyone’s week has gone off without a hitch! I also hope that you all had the chance to see yesterday’s post with the tour dates announced! I am sorry that some of you won’t be able to make the concert…I do not know if I can make it either, since the citites that she is playing in aren’t relatively close to me. But, let’s keep the dreams alive, people! A lot can happen in a very short amount of time! LOL

Kelly Clarkson is putting her tour back on track.
After scrapping the summer version due to poor ticket sales, Clarkson will instead hit North American arenas with special guest Jon McLaughlin, beginning Oct. 10 in New York, PEOPLE has learned. Shows are set through Dec. 3 in Nashville.
It’s been a tumultuous couple months for Clarkson, 25, who recently fired her manager and shelved her summer tour after a public clash with Clive Davis over the direction of her latest album, My December, the first disc she co-produced and wrote entirely.
Fans who have tickets for the canceled dates are eligible for a special Ticketmaster code for the new shows; details are available on Clarkson’s Web site.
Here’s the lineup for Clarkson’s My December tour:
• Oct. 10: Verona, N.Y. (Turning Stone Casino)
• Oct. 14-16: New York (Beacon Theatre)
• Oct. 18: Philadelphia (Tower Theatre)
• Oct. 21: Uncasville, Conn. (Mohegan Sun)
• Oct. 23: Boston (Orpheum Theatre)
• Oct. 24: Washington, D.C. (DAR Constitution Hall)
RUN, don’t walk, people, to buy these tickets!!! I have a gut feeling that a lot of these are going to sell out very fast! And of course, if you are a fan club member over at her website, please make sure that you use your ticket code for a possible meet and greet, as well as a first-pick at tickets to the venue that you want to see her at!
