A Special Calling
TGIF, everyone!
Today’s post is special, because I wanted to take the time out to talk about one of my online friends. JenFK’s adorable little boy, Alex, is participating in the 2007 Columbus Buddy Walk to help raise money for the awareness for those individuals with Downs Syndrome. Here’s where YOU can help! Team Alex is almost to their PHENOMINAL goal of raising $7,500.00, but they still have 8 days left! Here’s a note that Jen sent to me:
I’m sending out friendly reminders today that the 2007 Columbus Buddy Walk will take place in just nine days. That still leaves plenty of time to make a donation, which will help fund research, education, and advocacy programs for individuals with Down syndrome. Every last cent makes a huge difference, and we’re hoping to count you in as a Team Alex supporter. All donations are tax deductible, and can be made online by visiting www.columbusbuddywalk.org and clicking on Team Alex.
I hope that you all can help donate to Team Alex! Alex ( and his little sister, too!) is a GREAT little boy, full of life and a beautiful spirit! I know that it would make all of us proud to see Team Alex reach their goal!
