TGIF, Y’ALL!!!

I don’t know about you, but I am SO glad it is the weekend! I have needed it to be the weekend all week long! LOL

If you have been following this blog all week, you’ll know that Kelly is still in Australia. She seems to really be loving her time there! Again, I hope that those of you that live in the area where she will be playing in Australia will have the opportunity to see her, and possibly meet her! Don’t forget, that if you are a member of Kelly’s fan club, that you have the opportunity to win meet and greet passes to see her backstage! Make sure that you check into her website from time to time to see if you can have the chance to meet her!

The (2008) March dates will be Kelly’s first time on stage in Australia since her successful tour of 2005. “My December is a journal of my last two years. The songs go from emotional ballads to fun rockers. I can’t wait to perform them live for all my fans in Australia,” Kelly says.”

Today’s post is special, because I wanted to take the time out to talk about one of my online friends. JenFK’s adorable little boy, Alex, is participating in the 2007 Columbus Buddy Walk to help raise money for the awareness for those individuals with Downs Syndrome. Here’s where YOU can help! Team Alex is almost to their PHENOMINAL goal of raising $7,500.00, but they still have 8 days left! Here’s a note that Jen sent to me:

I’m sending out friendly reminders today that the 2007 Columbus Buddy Walk will take place in just nine days. That still leaves plenty of time to make a donation, which will help fund research, education, and advocacy programs for individuals with Down syndrome. Every last cent makes a huge difference, and we’re hoping to count you in as a Team Alex supporter. Tonight is the night that our gal Kelly is going to open the NFL Opening Kickoff on NBC at 8 pm EST! Kelly Clarkson is putting her tour back on track.

After scrapping the summer version due to poor ticket sales, Clarkson will instead hit North American arenas with special guest Jon McLaughlin, beginning Oct. 10 in New York, PEOPLE has learned. Shows are set through Dec. 3 in Nashville.

It’s been a tumultuous couple months for Clarkson, 25, who recently fired her manager and shelved her summer tour after a public clash with Clive Davis over the direction of her latest album, My December, the first disc she co-produced and wrote entirely.

Fans who have tickets for the canceled dates are eligible for a special Ticketmaster code for the new shows; details are available on Clarkson’s Web site.

TGIF, fellow Kelly fans! What a great Friday it is!! It was announced yesterday that Kelly and Reba are nominated for a CMA award for their duet of ” Because of You”! I am so happy for both of them! Here’s the announcement that was over at Kelly’s official website:

Kelly and Reba have been nominated for Country Music Award for the Musical Event with the song “Because Of You”. “The 41st Annual CMA Awards” will be broadcast live from the Sommet Center in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 7 (8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) on ABC.

I HOPE HOPE HOPE that they win!!! It would be Kelly’s very first CMA award, and Reba’s 5th, making Reba the first female artist to win 5 CMA awards! Keep your hopes up and your fingers crossed, people!

Also, it was announced that Kell’s next single from her smash hit cd ” My December” will be ” Don’t Waste Your Time“. This is a great song, and is sure to burn up the air waves when it is released on the radio September 10! That’s next Sunday peeps!!! Be sure to call your local radio station and request this song ( and of course, all of her others), and let’s push the heck out of the air play for Kelly!!!

My December, Don’t Waste Your Time, Kelly and Reba’s nomination for a CMA award

Hello again, all! I received this e-mail today from Kelly’s fan club, and wanted to share it with all of you!

Hey Kelly Fans,

Kelly is gearing up to hit the road!! As promised, we will be giving fans who purchased tickets for her cancelled tour the first opportunity to purchase tickets for her upcoming tour stops. Fan Club tickets for the first three shows of the new tour are going on sale this week… with more shows being announced very soon.

Here’s what you need to know:

Log-in to KellyClarkson.com and visit the Fan Club page to retrieve your new Ticketmaster passcode before the ticket presale begins. Your new passcode will allow you to access the ticket purchase page at your designated time. (See below for info on the date/time you can purchase.)

Please note that there is a purchase limit of two tickets per show, with a maximum purchase of four tickets per tour. This limit has been put in to place in order to accommodate more Fan Club members. We appreciate your understanding.

There has been a great deal of effort put forth to accommodate those members who previously purchased tickets, but due to changes in locations and other factors in ticketing, we cannot guarantee ticket availability. Tickets are first-come, first-serve while supplies last.

Remember, get your code from KellyClarkson.com and then visit Ticketmaster.com at the designated time to purchase tickets. Presale dates/times are as follows:

This year’s FREE show will take place on Thursday, Sept. 6 at Monument Circle, Downtown, Indianapolis, IN. This concert is open to the public; however, if you request your tickets at www.1iota.com you will be one of the lucky fans closest to the stage!

Ok, so there is some hot debates going on about which single should be released next. What do you all think? I think that “Sober” should be the next one to be released ( and not just because I am ADDICTED to that song! LOL) By the way…do you all think that “Sober” will be her next video debut as well? I can’t wait to see it…although I am sure that the video will have me in tears, just like “Because of You” did when it first came out! LOL

NFL Kickoff Performance, KELLY CLARKSON, Monument Circle, “Sober”

Happy Tuesday, all! A special hello to Dustin and Christina…thanks so much for participating! It is always great to see people stop by and say hello!

For those of us that just can’t get enough of Kelly ( um, hello…isn’t that ALL of us? LOL), guess what? She’s scheduled to appear on the Teen Choice Awards on Fox next Monday night! That’s right! On August 28, Kelly is scheduled to perform “Never Again” . Make sure that you all check your local listings for the time and channel that it will be coming on in your area!

OMG, gang…I think that Kelly is thisclose to announcing her new tour! If you check out Ticketmaster they have a link to Kelly’s upcoming concerts, although there are no dates on there just yet. I can’t wait to see if she’ll be coming back to Texas! Of course, this IS her home state, so I think that it would be silly for her not to. Of course, maybe I should be hoping that she is somewhere near me when she performs! LOL I know that you all can’t wait either! Keep checking back to see when she will be performing and where! It’s sure to be a blast for all of us!

Teen Choice Awards, “Never Again”, MTV Canada, Much on Demand

Happy happy Monday, all! I hope that everyone had a great weekend! Where the heck did it go, anyway? LOL

Today is a great day for all of us Kelly fans! Why is that, you ask? Because today, Kelly will be on 2 different venues! That’s right, you all can check Kelly out two different times today! Catch her at:

Make sure that you check your local listings for the times that this will air! There is a great buzz going around saying that she will make her announcements for her upcoming concert on these apperances! This is not a fact, but it is a great hope for all of us Kelly fans!

Kelly will also be on Canadian Idol tomorrow night! She is set to mentor the remaining five contestants on the show, as well as give two performances for the audience members! I will try to get this performance up on this blog as soon as it is made available (read : YouTube). Hold on to your seats, gang…I have a feeling that we’re going to hear about her new concert coming very soon!
