Happy Wednesday, everyone!
I hope that those of you that can purcahse tickets to see Kelly Clarkson in concert in October and December have already done so! No worries for the rest of us…there is time yet! I know that she will play here in Texas ( c’mon, it’s her home state! LOL) so my hopes have not dwindled yet! 
The other day, I was in the car and I heard an older song on the radio. I told my friend, ” wouldn’t that be cool if Kelly covered this song?”. She quickly replied with an enthusiastic yes! So, I am curious…which songs would you love to hear Kelly cover? It can be any song on the radio…or even good old oldies ( which I like too! ). Here’s my list…I want to see yours too! By the way, I have a very ecletcic taste for music! I cover all the genres! LOL

Ok, so I am sure that there are a slew more that I could come up with, but these would be so great if she remade them too!
On YouTube , there is a mash up of Green Day’s “Brainstew” and Kelly’s “Because of You”. Ok, before I get hate comments in the comment section (LOL), let me explain why I love this song. First off, I love Kelly (as you all know), and I also like Green Day. To mash up a slow ballad with a punk rock song is just SICK!!!! When I heard this on YouTube, I fell in love with it! As a matter of fact, I heard Green Day’s Brainstew on the radio the other day, and I was singing the Kelly parts along to the radio! LOL So, here’s the clip of it…you all tell me what you think…

I think you picked my favorite..but I also remember (I am a fossil) she sang a song called “Try”
Would love to hear that again.
I am a big fan of Mama Cass too..would love to hear her version of some of those good old songs.
